Priya is a corporate and securities lawyer with a focus on M&A transactions. Known in the office for her exceptional organization, efficiency, and Excel skills, she brings precision and clarity to even the most complex matters.
Before joining SkyLaw, Priya built and ran her own practice, advising clients on a wide spectrum of civil litigation and corporate matters. She also leads SkyCounsel, SkyLaw’s innovative practice support platform designed for independent legal professionals to thrive on their own.
While earning her law degree at the University of Ottawa, she co-founded Canada’s first national, bilingual, student-run business law clinic, providing pro bono legal services to entrepreneurs and start-ups. She also holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business.
Outside of the office, Priya is passionate about fitness, travel, and music. She has backpacked across Europe, skydived in Hawaii, taken the plunge cliff-diving in Tobermory and most recently went row-boating in the caves of Tam Coc, Vietnam.

Priya is the co-author of the Canada chapter of the first edition of the Law Over Borders Global M&A Law Guide, published in April of 2026.
Priya has co-authored the Canada chapter of Chambers' annual Corporate M&A Global Practice Guide since 2021.
Priya has contributed a variety of articles on the topic of Corporate Law in Canada to Mondaq since 2024.
