Kevin West Speaks at GPC Conference

Kevin West was pleased to be invited to speak once again at the annual conference for the Governance Professionals of Canada (GPC), formerly known as the Canadian Society of Corporate Secretaries (CSCS), held in Whistler, British Columbia this year.
The theme of the conference was ‘Critical Issues in Governance’. Kevin spoke on the role of the board of directors in M&A transactions and other special situations. The presentation slides are attached below.
He participated on a panel with Deborah Rosati, an experienced corporate director and founder of Women Get On Board, and Thierry Keable, the General Counsel for Whistler Blackcomb. The presentation was timely as Whistler Blackcomb recently announced that that it would be acquired by Vail Resorts [view press release].
