A Special Visit to the Nation’s Capital

I recently had the opportunity to visit Senator Victor Oh at his office overlooking Parliament Hill alongside Stephanie Kam of Export Development Canada. During lunch at the Parliamentary Restaurant, we discussed inbound foreign investment activities and our work representing Chinese state-owned enterprises acquiring business in Canada.

Senator Oh was heavily involved in Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s first trip to China and has recently travelled to China with Minister of International Trade Ed Fast. Senator Oh plays a pivotal role in shaping Canada-China relations and is Vice-Chair of the Canada-China Legislative Association.
